Aubrey's Notebook:
Move 'em up, Head 'em out

Who says cowboys can't work in this town anymore? Two cowboys on horseback and several other men teamed up to capture a cow that had escaped fom the sale barn east of the National Cemetery in Fayetteville.

The escapee fought the team successfully for nearly half an hour before a combination of strength, will, trickery and gentle pursuasion got her to climb aboard a trailer parked at the intersection of South Duncan Avenue and 11th Street in Fayetteville.

The house in the background of the photo is our house in Fayetteville. The cow is being rounded up after escaping from the local sale barn.
