The plant is about 10" or 12" tall, is quite bright pink in blossom. Two plants were spotted in two separate spots on the prairie. They were blooming in mid-July.
 
Plants in summer on wetland near Town Branch of the West Fork of the White River in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to be replaced by 36 apartments and 66 parking spaces.
